Integrated Technical Solutions
The Integrated Technical Solutions business unit is a leader in sub-system integration and operation and maintenance.
We are a premier provider of systems integration and life cycle support services for C4I systems used by DoD and all government levels, as well as commercial and international customers. We design, integrate, produce, and provide life cycle support to highly specialized C4I systems, ranging in size and complexity from highly mobile, portable units to the world's largest and most sophisticated systems for installation aboard major combatant ships, including the USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76) and every AEGIS platform ever built. We have delivered radio communication systems for more than 100 ships.
BAE Systems designs and produces integrated systems that provide voice, video, and data communications using radios, satellites, data links, and networks for end users with highly specialized communications requirements such as the Special Operations Forces. We have developed C2 vehicles for communications interoperability, designed and installed large-scale security systems for the U.S. Government and are extending these initiatives into Homeland Security programs. We are also a primary support contractor for U.S. Navy and Marine Corps air traffic control and identification systems.
BAE Systems provides test range operations support to various U.S. military installations. We provide operations support and maintenance for the test range and technical facilities at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, and Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico, supporting the test and evaluation of defense weapons systems, air armament, and munitions.
We also perform operations support and maintenance on high-technology equipment and have supplied logistics and engineering support for 146 radar systems located on 27 test ranges worldwide.
BAE Systems offers a full line of test range instrumentation hardware systems, including radar and optical tracking systems in fixed or mobile configurations, to domestic and international customers.
